Definitely pick up this series if you want to read the darker side of YA. There wasn’t one moment I wasn’t on the edge of my seat. This is like my happy time right now. You can’t deny that they love each other deeply though.
Jazz will obviously spend his life struggling to not become the product of a very twisted upbringing. Usually because they were raised by screwed up parents themselves and the abuse they endured becomes normal to them. Is this a series worth reading?

Fact is, it takes a lot more effort NOT to kill people, which is going to sound a bit warped, but human bllood can be so frustrating. Jazz Dent has never been closer to catching his father. Huh-ho, nope, I’m not that good.
This book kept me on the edge and I couldn’t put it down. Jasper has also fought with knowing who his father is and knowing that his blood runs through his veins. Jazz aka JasperBilly, Howie, Connie He’s not a sociopath, he’s not a monster; he’s just a kid who grew up awy too fast for his own good.
But the psychology in this series starts by barely scratching the surface and, instead of going deeper as it progresses, just becomes damn repetitive. Throughout the whole book I was rooting for Jazz to stay strong and don’t let Billy into his head.
