I’ve read somewhere that if you don’t need to step on the clutch to start your car then the installer messed up on the bypass cause the bypass should work ONLY when remote starting. I have a very nice viper 2 way xv that I took out of my truck and would like to use in my gto. Do you do that with out your alarm now? The module ensures that the end user of the system performs certain security steps, such as leaving the vehicle in neutral gear, before exiting with intent to remotely start the vehicle later.
If I cant get the remote start hooked up safely I will just sell it and buy a simple alarm instead. You must follow recommended safety guidelines rei installation and operation instructions.

Only way to really know is to get the service manual and see de the vehicle even has one. If the car doesn’t have it built in which ours doesn’t or you don’t have a proper system, don’t do it.
